one of the best drugs in this entire floating blue spec of rock swirling around the milky way would have to be the first few days of nice weather after winter. it's a natural aphrodisiac, an airy bouyancy seems to fill the spirits of all the living creatures you would experience in your encounters outdoors. and you have to be outdoors. after getting cabin fever for a few months of bitter cold and nasty precipitation, how can you not want to run around outside? It's funny that both carmen and corin told me about (while celebrating) Imbole just days before i actually feel the effects of this pagan holiday. Its a celebration for the awakening of the earth from the slumber of winter, and its glorious. its something that should be celebrated.
i could never live in a place with no seasons. winters can suck, but that feeling of the first few weeks of spring is just so amazing that it makes the horrid weather bearable. every woman looks so much more attractive (whether its the less clothes and more skin thing is a possibility, but i'm not sure how much of a factor), the trees are starting to bud and bloom, and that electric energy of warmth really permeates everything. so i am going to stop typing here and go outside to celebrate. most likely with some herb and my dog and a frisbee (he rocks at frisbee). you should be doing the same (unless of course you are currently residing in a place where winters grip holds on just a little bit longer, but fret not, soon it's frigid fingers will relax and recede for a few months).
